Hirtler-Garvey has been a member of the youth-focused apparel retailer’s board since August 2005 and has served as chairman of the board’s audit committee as well as the company’s lead independent director. She most recently served as the chief risk executive for Ally Financial Inc. and has held several management positions at Bank of America Corp. (BAC).

Geiger, who also resigned as a member of the board, became the president and chief executive officer of Crumbs Bake Shop Inc. in November. Prior to that, Geiger served as Aeropostale’s chairman and chief executive from August 1998 until February 2010.

Aeropostale, which operates children’s and teen retail chains, saw its stock slump last year as its girls’ business failed to resonate with shoppers and it saw stiffer competition from its teen rivals, including Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (ANF), which has become more promotional.

In November, Aeropostale Inc. reported its fiscal third-quarter profit fell 59% as the company booked sharply higher input costs, though earnings topped the its raised forecast.

Shares closed at $16.64 and were unchanged after hours. The stock is up 9.1% year to date.

Olympus avoided automatic delisting from the TSE when it filed its earnings by a Dec. 14 deadline. But shares in the scandal-hit maker of cameras and endoscopes had remained under the risk of delisting as the TSE examined whether the company’s fraudulent accounting had “a material impact” on its shares.

The report comes after the Nikkei newspaper reported last week that the TSE is likely to designate Olympus’s stock as “on alert,” whereby the company must file annual progress reports on efforts to improve corporate governance and information disclosure.

Shares slipped 4.6% to $7.05 as the company also said gross margin in the latest period will be lower-than-expected.

Kemet said it now expects revenue of $217 million to $219 million, down from its prior view of $228 million to $238 million. Gross margin is expected to be between 18% and 19%, below its earlier view of 19% to 22%.

Kemet, one of the biggest makers of capacitors, said third-quarter order-intake improved slightly from the prior quarter and said it believes its market share remains unchanged.

The company plans to release its results Feb. 2.

Kemet has been aggressively expanding in alternative energy, aiming to integrate more of its products into solar panels, windmills and hybrid vehicles. That’s a switch from Kemet’s traditional markets such as cellphones, computers and televisions.

Google disclosed in a regulatory filing that Greene, 56, will serve on the audit committee of the board, and will be granted an initial equity award of $1 million.

Greene replaces venture capitalist John Doerr on the board’s audit committee, Google said, though Doerr remains a Google board member.

Doerr’s firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers was an early backer of Google.

Greene has been a board member at tax software developer Intuit Inc. INTU +0.71% since 2006, where she serves on the audit and risk committee, Google said in the filing.

Previously, Greene served as chief executive at VMware, which provides so-called virtualization software used to run multiple operating systems within computers, from 1998 to 2008.

The real estate investment trust’s stock declined 2.47% to $15 a share, while the overall REIT sector posted modest gains in line with the broader equities.

After a longstanding lease dispute with its former affiliate Getty Realty, Getty Petroleum Marketing filed for bankruptcy protection, listing assets and debts of between $50 million and 100 million each. The filing comes about a week after the REIT announced that it was terminating its lease agreement with Getty Petroleum and planned to repossess some 800 properties the company subleased to gas-station operators, mostly in the mid-Atlantic region. Getty Realty claims Getty Petroleum failed to make scheduled rent payments that totaled about $60 million a year.

The two companies split in 1997 but signed a long-term lease deal on the gas stations that expired in 2015. Getty Realty’s stock has dived 52% since the beginning of the year as investors fretted about the viability of Getty Petroleum’s business model given that many of the gas stations were not profitable.

Getty Petroleum said in the court filing it believed its business can be restructured to become profitable if it can resolve the lease dispute with Getty Realty.

The unit, a U.S. registered broker dealer and investment adviser, will be integrated into Credit Suisse’s private banking unit in the U.S.

Ten advisers will be affected by the changes at the Swiss based-unit, Credit Suisse said, without being more specific.

“This was a strategic decision to improve the client experience while at the same time streamline and optimize Credit Suisse’s operations,” said Credit Suisse spokesman Alex Biscaro.

The move is part of Credit Suisse’s review of its operations in order to improve efficiencies.

Credit Suisse Private Advisors is a legally separate entity, regulated by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and is a securities dealer registered in Switzerland with FINMA.

It offers global diversification and wealth management strategies to rich clients and their families.

Existing clients will now be able to manage their U.S. and their Swiss-custodied assets through one U.S.-based relationship manager, the bank said.

Earlier this month Credit Suisse said it will fold its Clariden Leu subsidiary into the rest of the bank, eliminating brands that have been around for more than 250 years.

Credit Suisse, Switzerland’s second-largest bank by assets, said it expects to save around 200 million Swiss francs ($220 million) a year and grow faster because of the integration.
